Terms of service
Last updated 27 October 2026
Welcome to My Little Diary, a free online diary. By creating an account or using the diary, you agree to these terms. They are kept short and plain on purpose.
Your account
- One account is for one person. Keep your login to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up.
Your diary belongs to you
Everything you write and every photo you add stays yours. We only store it so we can show it back to you, and to your friends for the pages you share, as explained in the privacy policy. Your pages are private unless you switch them to ๐ซ Friends; then only your friends can read them.
Please don't
- upload anything illegal, or photos you don't have the right to use;
- try to get into other people's accounts or private pages, or break, overload or attack the service;
- use the diary to store files that aren't part of a diary, or to send spam or unwanted friend requests;
- copy a friend's shared pages or photos somewhere else without their permission;
- post comments that are unkind, bullying or abusive.
Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or removed.
The service
- My Little Diary is free and provided as it is, without guarantees. We do our best to keep it running and your pages safe, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and data loss can never be ruled out completely.
- Please use Export now and then to keep your own backup.
- Each account has a fair-use limit on photo space (currently 500 MB).
- Features may change over time. If the diary ever closes, we will give notice on the site so you have time to export your pages.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage from using the diary, including lost pages or photos. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Leaving
You can stop using the diary at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email kaiyanwong@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top will change too. Continuing to use the diary after that means you accept the new terms.
